Holiday games can spark team spirit and keep agents energized during the busiest time of the year.

We asked our readers for their best Christmas games and we’ve put together a fun list of our favourite, easy-to-organize games for your contact centre that will inspire and engage agents throughout the season.

10 Christmas Themed Games for Your Contact Centre

1. Christmas Bingo

Bring holiday spirit to the contact centre with a festive bingo game! Each agent receives a bingo card filled with phrases and scenarios they’re likely to encounter during calls, such as “Happy Holidays!” or “gift exchange.”

For added fun, include seasonal actions like “a customer asks for holiday hours” or “mentions winter weather”.

As agents mark off squares throughout the day, the first to complete a row or the whole card wins a holiday prize like a gift card or holiday treats. This adds excitement, encourages friendly competition, and enhances the holiday vibe!

2. Christmas Scavenger Hunt

Make the holiday season interactive with a Christmas scavenger hunt! Each day, hide small holiday items like mini ornaments, candy canes, or Santa figurines around the office, assigning each item a point value based on how difficult it is to find.

Hard-to-spot items like tiny snowflakes might be worth more, while larger items like candy canes are fewer points. Agents collect items throughout the week, tallying up their points.

At week’s end, the agent or team with the highest score wins festive prizes such as gift cards or holiday treats.

3. Holiday Costume Contest

Invite agents to dress up in holiday-themed accessories, such as Santa hats, reindeer antlers, or even full holiday costumes. Set a specific day for this event to build excitement and anticipation.

At the end of the day, host a vote to determine the “Most Festive” outfit, creating a fun and engaging atmosphere.

The winner can receive a delightful seasonal treat, like a gift basket of holiday goodies, or a coveted day-off voucher.

4. Elf on the Shelf Prank Wars

Introduce a playful “Elf on the Shelf” game to your office during the holiday season. Place the elf in various unexpected locations each day, encouraging agents to look for it and find joy in the hunt.

Allow different agents to take turns hiding the elf. To keep the excitement going, reward the most inventive hiding spots with small treats, such as festive snacks or holiday-themed trinkets.

This game adds a delightful surprise to the workday and enhances team bonding through laughter and friendly competition!

5. Secret Santa Trivia

Put a holiday twist on the classic Secret Santa! Each agent is secretly assigned a “Mystery Santa” who will drop one clue or fun trivia fact about themselves every day.

Clues could be simple, like favourite holiday treats or obscure childhood memories, and can be posted on a team board or shared via a team chat.

Each day, agents collect clues and try to piece together who their Mystery Santa might be. To add suspense, reveal final guesses on the last day of the week, with a small gift or festive reward for each correct guess.

You can even add team points for correct matches, making it a fun competition and a great way to learn quirky, little-known facts about teammates.

6. “Jingle All the Way” Call Challenge

Get into the holiday spirit by challenging agents to creatively incorporate holiday-themed phrases into their customer interactions while maintaining professionalism.

Provide a fun list of phrases like “jolly,” “Santa’s helpers,” and “winter wonderland” to inspire creativity. Encourage agents to seamlessly weave these terms into their conversations, whether it’s through festive greetings, helpful suggestions, or lighthearted comments.

To keep the competition lively, offer a prize for the agent who successfully includes the most phrases in a natural way.

7. Ornament Decorating Contest

Set up a festive mini-craft station in the office, complete with plain ornaments, paints, glitter, and various decorations. Each agent can choose an ornament to personalize, allowing them to express their creativity and holiday spirit.

Once decorated, display the ornaments on a central tree or bulletin board for all to admire. To add an element of friendly competition, hold a vote for the most creative ornament, offering a festive reward, such as a holiday treat or gift card, for the winning design. This activity creates teamwork, creativity, and festive cheer!

8. Pass the Parcel Team Game

In this game, begin by wrapping a prize in multiple layers of wrapping paper, adding a small treat, note, or extra festive sticker between some layers to keep each round interesting.

Gather the team in a circle and start passing the parcel around while festive music plays. When the timer stops, the agent holding the parcel removes one layer to see what’s hidden. Repeat until the final layer reveals the main prize, awarded to the last agent unwrapping!

9. Holiday Hero Nominations

Celebrate the season of giving by encouraging agents to recognize colleagues who go above and beyond. Throughout December, invite team members to nominate peers who have shown exceptional effort, teamwork, or holiday spirit.

Create a festive display board showcasing these nominations, giving everyone a chance to see and appreciate each other’s hard work.

At the end of the week (or month), reward recognized agents with small gifts, like a hot cocoa kit, holiday candle, or extra break time.

10. Christmas Carol Charades

Add a holiday twist to charades with a quick round of Christmas Carol Charades during breaks! Write down the titles of popular holiday songs on slips of paper (e.g., “Jingle Bells,” “Silent Night,” “Frosty the Snowman”), and have each agent randomly draw one to act out.

They’ll use only gestures – no singing allowed – while the rest of the team guesses the song. To keep the game lively, offer a prize for the best or most entertaining performance. This activity offers a fun, energizing break that brings laughter and holiday cheer to the team!

These games are simple to set up, create a festive atmosphere, and encourage friendly competition. By adding a bit of holiday spirit through games, you can boost motivation, increase team morale, and give your agents something to look forward to each day!

So, what are you waiting for? Start planning your contact centre office Christmas games today and give your agents the gift of fun, engagement, and festive excitement.
