The greatest awards programme in the European customer contact industry opens today in its 24th year.
The European Contact Centre & Customer Service Awards (ECCCSA) is accepting nominations into 28 categories designed to recognize the incredible achievements of the teams and organizations delivering exceptional customer experiences across Europe. The deadline to enter is 19 July 2024.
Now established as the Oscars of the industry, the ECCCSAs are recognized for their robust judging process and the benefit this brings the nominees in reflecting on what they have achieved, and the simply magical awards evening that delivers an outstanding guest experience:
- “The award has really given us a platform to benefit our employees, teams and consumers globally.” – The Estée Lauder Companies
- “We attend a number of awards and the ECCCSAs are definitely one of our favourites!” – Ageas
- “Thank you for this remarkable opportunity and for recognizing our efforts in the industry. We look forward to continuing our commitment to excellence and innovation in the field of customer experience.” – Gold Energy
There are three new categories this year that acknowledge the changing world in which we live:
- Best Fight Against Fraud
- Best Approach to Supporting Vulnerable Customers
- Most Effective Sales Approach
Leigh Hopwood, Chair of the recently launched European Customer Contact Alliance (ECCA), said: “The integrity and credibility of this programme is what sets these awards apart.
“From the depth of the judging process to the quality of all the amazing volunteer judges, and then of course the incredible awards evening in November that aims to give the industry a real opportunity to celebrate what it has achieved.
“The industry is taking huge strides in the customer experiences that it delivers for increasingly demanding customers.
“Organizations are adopting new technologies to streamline processes and support the frontline. Seeing the impact that recognizing this hard work has on the individuals dedicated to customer contact is poignant. It’s a great testament to our industry.
“And it’s huge thanks to the judges, the Association Partners, the Sponsors and the Media Partners that these awards are able to do the work that they do.“
Jackie Pringle, Director of Operations at the ECCCSAs, said: “The whole process is highly rewarding and enjoyable – that’s what the nominees tell us.
“Teams relish in sharing their stories through the online submission and when they are presenting to the judges. Finalists have a real spring in their step after meeting the judges. And with guests declaring ‘simply the best awards night I ever attended’, there are lots of reasons to participate.”
“Customer experiences should be brilliant – that’s our mantra at Sabio,” said Craig Pumfrey, VP Marketing at Sabio. “The ECCCSAs recognize those organizations that are striving for brilliance. And that’s why we continue to support these most prestigious awards.
“Everyone in the industry is determined to progress and so I’d urge leaders to consider those key projects that have delivered success and the teams that are working hard to achieve the goals of the organization, and enter them into these awards. Good luck to everyone and we look forward to celebrating with you in November.”
There is plenty of support available for those looking to enter. On Tuesday 23 May at 12 noon BST, Jackie is hosting a webinar to talk through the process and share helpful tips and advice. There is also a Toolkit available to download to support the entry process.
