The award recognises the strength and value of partnerships and collaboration in technology. The Ocado and Centrical teams worked in very close partnership, even from before contracts were officially exchanged, and Ocado quickly became a design partner of Centrical from October 2022. During the design partner program, we worked closely together to understand key requirements of Ocado’s Quality program, and how Centrical could support the framework directly within Centrical, allowing Ocado to remove the use of another 3rd party platform. Centrical quickly became a one stop shop for all employee engagement, performance management, rewards and recognition, and quality management, for all levels of the Hub, allowing Mint to become an integral tool to the business. Ocado had a sophisticated process, mostly about the structured interaction between employees and managers.
