UK-based employees of audio device manufacturer Jabra shaved their heads to raise funds for the NHS during the COVID-19 crisis, on Thursday 9th April.
The team were inspired by the National Head Shave (NHS) challenge which has seen sports and TV stars across the nation get the clippers out in support of the work of NHS Charities Together.
The Channel team members took to Zoom along with their encouraging colleagues, family and pets to do their bit to support the charity, which is currently working to support NHS staff and volunteers caring for COVID-19 patients.
The line-up of head shavers, who have now raised over £2,000 in donations, includes:
- Jabra Channel Sales Director, Rick Wallis
- Jabra Field Sales Representative, Corey Richards
- Jabra Partner Account Managers Paul Colam and Sukh Mann
- Jabra EMEA Head of Distribution, Dave Marshall.
After the shave, Channel Sales Director Rick Wallis said, “While we’re adjusting to a new routine, the Jabra team are rallying together to stay connected and keep spirits up.”
“The head shave challenge has been a fantastic movement for us all to get behind to support NHS Charities Together. The team have had a great time raising money and supporting our NHS heroes.”
The Jabra team are still hoping to raise more money for the NHS charity.
