The 2024 European Contact Centre & Customer Service Awards (ECCCSAs) have revealed this year’s winners, celebrating outstanding achievements in customer service and contact centre operations.
Bringing together industry leaders, emerging talents, and innovators, the ECCCSAs honored excellence across the sector at a ceremony held at London’s Evolution in Battersea Park.
Representatives from 44 countries attended the event, which recognized accomplishments across 30 rigorously judged categories.
Chair of the Judges and Professor of Strategic Marketing at Henley Business School and Founder, said, “My first year as Chair of the Judges, I’ve been inspired by the innovation, creativity, and collaboration demonstrated by every winner.”
Telecom companies stood out, with Vodafone securing a Gold, Silver, and Bronze, while Three UK earned Gold for the Most Effective Learning & Development Programme. OVO Energy was awarded Gold for Contact Centre of the Year, acknowledging their commitment to customer-focused operations.
Iceland’s Veitur Utilities, a first-time entrant, earned Bronze for their innovative approach to customer engagement.
Outsourcing leaders Teleperformance and Foundever highlighted their global expertise, with Teleperformance winning Gold for Most Effective Improvement Initiative and Best Approach to Supporting Vulnerable Customers (Outsourcer).
Foundever received three Gold awards, including Greatest Impact of AI (Outsourcer) and Best BPO Partnership.
Charities and in-house teams were also celebrated, with Alzheimer’s Society earning Gold for Best Approach to Supporting Vulnerable Customers (In-house) and TaskUs taking Gold for Best Employee Experience, reflecting their dedication to sustainability and workforce well-being.
Now in its 24th year, the ECCCSAs remain Europe’s largest awards program for customer contact, setting a benchmark for excellence across industries. Hosted by Fiona Bruce and supported by Dame Denise Lewis OBE, the event underscored the resilience, innovation, and dedication of this year’s winners.
