We are delighted to announce that we have joined the likes of The Telegraph, Cosmopolitan and VICE UK in winning a 2020 Digital Publishing Award.
The awards are arranged annually by the Association of Online Publishers (AOP), and in winning the award we beat off great competition from many popular publications, including the Financial Times.
Our landmark award win is in the “Best Use of Data” category for our Article Quality Scoring Algorithm, which uses non-intrusive insights into audience behaviour to feedback key information to our editorial team.
The editorial team uses these insights to see which topics our readers value most, so we can create more great articles, webinars and podcasts around these subjects.
Since we took on this approach, traffic to our online magazine has skyrocketed, making Call Centre Helper the go-to place for contact centre, customer service and customer experience professionals around the world – with hundreds of thousands readers visiting our site every month.
In addition to this, we have also used our algorithm – which was designed in-house – to optimize our internal search engine and serve up the best, most-relevant, related articles for each post.
Judged by publishing experts from around the world, this award is a great piece of recognition for the huge amount of work that we’ve put into creating exciting, new content and growing our wonderful audience.
In handing over the award, Zara Erismann, MD Publisher Europe at LiveRamp, said: “The judges felt that this was a well-written, clearly explained entry for an innovative solution that was devised by the current in-house team and has actively changed business outputs.”
As our online magazine continues to go from strength to strength, we’d like to thank you – our loyal readers – for reading our stories, watching our webinars, using our online tools and listening to our podcasts.
We hope there are lots more awards in our future, which we will try to win by providing you with the best, most helpful content possible.
So, stay in touch by continuously searching our site or subscribing to our newsletter and we’ll try our best to bring you lots more “award-winning” editorial and online tools. Cheers!
