Sprinklr Names Rory Read as New CEO and President

Sprinklr has appointed Rory Read as President, CEO, and Board member, effective November 5, 2024.

Read takes over from Co-CEO Ragy Thomas, who will now serve as Advisor to the CEO while continuing as Founder and Board Chair. Trac Pham, Co-CEO and Board member, will also move to an advisory role.

I couldn’t be more excited and honoured to be stepping into the role of President and CEO of Sprinklr to build on the foundation that Ragy Thomas, Trac Pham, the executive leaders and all the Sprinklrites have created,” said Read.

Read brings extensive leadership experience from companies like Vonage, Dell, and IBM. Most recently, he was CEO of Vonage, guiding it through a $6.2 billion acquisition by Ericsson in 2022.

New Calabrio CEO Dave Rhodes Announced

Calabrio has announced the appointment of Dave Rhodes as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately.

Rhodes, with a wealth of leadership experience and expertise in scaling software businesses, will succeed Interim CEO Joel Martins, who will remain in his role as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Rhodes joins Calabrio’s executive team as they focus on driving innovation and strengthening strategic partnerships to shape the future of global contact centers.

Calabrio Appoints Robert Rivera as New CSO

Calabrio has appointed Robert Rivera as Chief Sales Officer (CSO), where he will focus on driving the company’s growth through new strategic partnerships and expanding existing relationships.

With over 20 years of experience in technology sales, Rivera has a strong background in managing direct sales, partnerships, and cross-functional teams.

His expertise in building effective sales teams and delivering customer success will play a key role in supporting Calabrio’s global expansion.

Joel Martins, CTO and Interim CEO, Calabrio, said, “Robert’s extensive experience in developing top-performing sales teams, operational excellence and effective growth strategies will be invaluable as Calabrio continues to expand its market presence and deliver exceptional customer experiences. We are thrilled to have Robert on board as we embark on the next phase of our growth.”

Robert Rivera said, “My passion lies in coaching and developing global sales teams that drive impactful customer outcomes, and I am eager to contribute to Calabrio’s expanding international footprint and support its mission of empowering customer-centric contact centres.” 

NICE Appoints Scott Russell as New CEO

NICE announced the appointment of Scott Russell as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2025.

He will succeed Barak Eilam, who will retire at the end of 2024 after more than a decade as CEO and 25 years with the company.

Scott Russell brings over 25 years of experience in the enterprise software industry, including a 14-year tenure at SAP. Russell will be based in NICE’s Hoboken, NJ, office.

David Kostman, Chairman of the Board of Directors, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Scott as the new CEO of NICE. I am confident that Scott’s background, personality, energy, and drive will take NICE to new heights as we continue to execute on our platform strategy leveraging cloud, digital and AI.”

Scott Russell shared: “I am honoured to take on the role of CEO at such an exciting time for NICE. I look forward to working with the talented team at NICE to continue to build on the heritage and success NICE has had over the last decade and lead the company into its next phase of growth.”
